A brand new knife, the Kukri makes its first appearance in Lambda. Available in the Kilowatt & Gallery cases, along with the Operation Equinox Store.
We have ported, and re-rigged all of CS2's new weapon models and back-porting them to Source 1. As of this update, all stock weapons will use the new models. Don't worry, all your existing skins will use the existing models, with the exception of pattern based skins which have been migrated automatically.
In addition to gun models, the grenades have been ported as well, now featuring brand new inspect animations!
The first major operation for 2025 introduces the aptly named, Operation Equinox.

A recent Garry's Mod update introduced partial shader support.
While we can't really use these in a meaningful way in 3D space, as it's a 2D shader, we have started to implement it for user interface elements.
Drawing perfect circles, which was impossible previously without various hacks is now possible thanks to Pixel Shaders
In addition, we've replaced the UI elements that used the unoptimised Source Engine blur with a brand new optimised version that has been built in a pixel shader.
With this in mind, we've give the case unboxing UI a little bit of a facelift which you can see in the image above.
Your inventory will switch between the old model and new one depending on which skin is equipped.
Pattern based skins have been moved over to the new models automatically.

Since the very limited introduction of pixel shaders using the screenspace_general
shader, we've started to take advantage and have moved some of the more complicated UI over to pixel shaders.
Circles are no longer jagged and are smooth, there's now a more optimised gaussian blur which doesn't impact frame rate as much as the in-built Garry's Mod one.
The centre of the screen is now a circle to focus on the case spinning, in addition, the rest of the UI blurred.
This can be turned off with the following ConVar: lambda_store_enable_case_blur 0
Now when you press ESCAPE the HUD elements are no longer shown.
Unfortunately due to the major changes with the new weapon model switching system, The Skin Testing environment needs a re-write to work with this, so for the time being we are discotinuing the Skin Testing Environment while we re-write it using our brand new base gamemode.
Now when you press ESCAPE the HUD elements are no longer shown.
Now when you press ESCAPE the HUD elements are no longer shown.
Surf Deathmatch now uses our new "Counter-Strike" base gamemode.
We're slowly moving over our existing gamemodes to this new base gamemode as it provides a better experience.
Now when you press ESCAPE the HUD elements are no longer shown.
The circle is now drawn using the new pixel shader and is blurred (As found in CS2)
The icon of the team is now the team colour rather than the HUD colour.
Now when you press ESCAPE the HUD elements are no longer shown.
Starting with the new weapons, when viewing an item on the Wiki, you can click on the picture of the skin to view a large 1920x1080 render of the skin.
Training will be re-written using the new base gamemode in the future.
