Installing the Discord RPC Module

Install Lambda Game Utiliites

If you do not already have Lambda Game Utilities installed, head on over to Installing Lambda Game Utilities.

Installing the module

  1. Open Lambda Game Utilities
  2. Click on "Install Discord Rich Presence"
  3. You should get a prompt asking which version of Garry's Mod you have (x86 or x64), select the appropriate version and then click "Install"
  4. You should get a confirmation message that Discord RPC has been installed.

How do I uninstall the module?

If you no longer wish to have the Discord RPC module installed anymore, you can uninstall the module by following the steps below:

  1. Open Steam
  2. Find Garry's Mod in your Games List
  3. Right click on "Garry's Mod", go to "Manage" and then "Browse Local Files"
  4. Delete the following files in the root directory (The directory that contains hl2.exe): discord-rpc.dll and send-presence.exe.
  5. Navigate to garrysmod\lua\bin
  6. Remove the files: gmcl_discord_rpc_win32.dll and gmcl_discord_rpc_win64.dll
  7. Discord RPC has now been removed.
