Gungame has now been given a makeover. Gungame is now known as "Arms Race".
The Top HUD has also been re-designed with inspiration from CS2's Arms Race mode.
Arms Race also now has a 10 minute timer, so you need to be quick on reaching max level!
Based on Community Feedback the weapons have now been updated to match their counterparts in Counter-Strike.
Movement speeds are now the same as Counter-Strike where you run by default but hold your shift key to walk.
The Lambda #2 Case brings 17 high-quality skins from the previous iteration of Lambda, bringing some of the community favourites back.
The case is now dropping in-game as part of regular case drops.
This is the first case to use the newly introduced Kilowatt case model, which we will be using for all new cases (With the exception of legacy CS:GO cases) going forward.
Every year various members of the communnity attend the prestigous event, "A State of Trance". These events are in part of our meetup events.
As a physical Lambda events, players on our servers receive souvenir packages during the dates of the event.
Packages will drop every hour between 21st February and 27th February 2024 and with every drop, you have a 50% chance of receiving a drop.
These drops do not contribute to your weekly case drop limit, and there's no limit to the amount of Souvenir packages you can receive.
When you play during the dates stated above, you will also receive a ★ Karambit | Destination Fade as a Souvenir item.
You will only receive the item drop once and the drop will be in a random pattern and exterior condition. The item is also locked to your inventory and cannot be sold or traded.

For some the HL2 Footstep sounds are nostalgic, however as of this update we have now replaced all the footstep sounds with modern sounds from CS2.
Opening cases previously was quite cumbersome, where you needed to purchase a key before going to open the container, now with one click you can purchase the key and instantly open containers.
Daily Challenges are a popular feature in Lambda, as such with this update we're introducing some brand new challenges that revolve around play time.
When challenges are generated each day, there is a chance for a play time challenge to be generated which is available in the following difficulties
You will not gain challenge progress if you are AFK, and various checks and balances are made to ensure players are active. Any attempt to circumvent these measures may result in a ban from the challenges system.
In addition, challenges for TTT are now here!
Starting with this update, "Impossible" difficulty level challenges are now available. While these are not actually impossible, there are extremely difficult.
With these challenges you are guaranteed to get a pair of gloves or a knife, but are you willing to put in the effort to complete these challenges?
The new "Impossible" daily challenges are now available on both Surf & Bunny Hop with expansion to other gamemodes in the near future.
