Installing the Discord RPC module allows you to display the Lambda game state when you're playing an a Lambda game server. This module is optional and can be installed by following the steps below.

Check that Lambda Game Utilities is installed

This process requires that you already have Lambda Game Utilities installed. If not, you can find out how to install it here: https://lambda.tf/docs/lambda/content-mounting/game-utils

Installation

1. Open the Lambda Game Utilities application.
2. Click on "Install Discord Rich Presence".
3. You should get a prompt asking which version of Garry's Mod you have (x86 or x64), select the appropriate version and then click "Install"
4. You should get a confirmation message that Discord RPC has been installed.

Removal

If you no longer wish to have the Discord RPC module installed anymore, you can uninstall the module by following the steps below:

1. Open Steam
2. Find Garry's Mod in your Steam library
3. Right click on Garry's Mod and select "Manage" and then "Browse local files"
4. Delete the following files in the root directory (The directory that contains gmod.exe): discord-rpc.dll and send-presence.exe
5. Navigate to garrysmod\lua\bin
6. Delete the following files: gmcl_discord_rpc_win32.dll and gmcl_discord_rpc_win64.dll
7. Discord RPC should now be removed.
