We have different types of bans that are given out that restrict access to certain features or the game itself. Below are the types of bans that are given out:
Global bans are a type of ban which means you are unable to access any Lambda game servers entirely, you will be unable to connect if you're banned.
Global bans only apply to the game the ban was placed. If you were banned from Garry's Mod, you would not be banned from Counter-Strike 2, L4D2 etc, however management reserves the right to apply a global ban to all games if the situation warrants it.
These bans have a set expiry date. Depending on the severity of the ban, the expiry date can range from a few hours to a few months.
For temporary bans longer than 2 days, you are able to submit an appeal.
Permanent bans, as the name suggests have no expiry date and are applied indefinitely.
Permanent bans can be appealed unless the ban was given out by Lambda Anti-Cheat
Trade bans (Or trade freezes) are a type of ban that restricts a player's ability to trade with other players.
Trading includes but is not limited to:
For minor offenses, a temporary trade freeze may be given. These bans have a set expiry date and will be lifted once the ban expires.
Permanent trade bans are given out for more severe offenses. In the case of a permanent trade freeze, the trade lock does not expire, and players will be unable to trade with other players.
Challenge bans are given to players who have been found to exploit challenges (Such as daily challenges, global challenges or operation missions).
Temporary challenge bans have a set expiry date and will be lifted once the ban expires.
Permanent challenge bans are given out for more severe offenses. In the case of a permanent challenge ban, the ban does not expire, and players will be unable to participate in challenges.
