This guide only covers installing and mounting Counter-Strike: Source using Lambda Game Utilities - If you wish to do this process manually, you can find plenty of tutorials on the Internet on how to do this.

Install Lambda Game Utilities

If you have not already, install Lambda Game Utilities: https://lambda.tf/docs/lambda/content-mounting/game-utils

Installing Counter-Strike: Source

  1. Once Lambda Game Utilities is installed, open the application. You will need to run the application as Administrator. This is required as SteamCMD requires the ability to write files to the application directory.
  2. Click on the green "Manage Game Mounting" button.
  3. Select "Counter-Strike: Source"
  4. Click on "Install Games"
  5. SteamCMD will then go and fetch the files for the Counter-Strike: Source gameserver via SteamCMD. This may take a while depending on your internet speed.
