New Feature
Supernova mission set

14 new missions have been added to Event Horizon under a new "Supernova (September 2026)" category, covering Arms Race, Skill Surf, Prop Hunt, Deathrun, Bunny Hop, Wingman, 1v1 Arena, Stronghold and more.

Improvement
Redesigned mission briefing screen

Opening a mission now tells you which gamemodes and maps it can be completed on, how difficult it is, where it takes place, and whether you have already started it, completed it, or hit your daily mission limit. Missions that need a LambdaNet lobby can now create one for you.

Improvement
Mission difficulties are now shown by name

Missions read as "Easy", "Challenging", "Hard" and so on instead of using rarity colours alone.

New Feature
Dynamic quick sell pricing

Weapon finishes, knives and gloves are now quick sold at a price based on their rarity, exterior and StatTrak status rather than a single flat value. A Factory New StatTrak item is now worth considerably more than a Battle-Scarred one.

Added
Quick sell value shown before you sell

Hovering an inventory item now shows what it will actually sell for, labelled "Quick Sell".

Added
Knife and glove sell values

Knives and gloves previously had no rarity pricing of their own and now sell for values appropriate to their tier.

Added
Summer 2026 Terminal

A new Up-Link Terminal containing the 17 skin Summer 2026 collection, with a chance at a rare knife.

Improvement
The dealer now talks about what he is offering

The Uplink terminal dealer comments on an offer's rarity, exterior, StatTrak status and silenced weapons, occasionally reads out the item's flavour text, and now pushes you for an answer on the first offer and warns you when you are on the last one.

Added
Group tags on the scoreboard

Your primary group tag from the Lambda website is now displayed in front of your name.

Improvement
Redesigned score feed

Score events now appear as a stack of pills on the left of your screen, cascading in and fading out rather than appearing all at once. The feed also stays visible over open menus.

Added
Gamemode logos for 1v1 Arena and DR5VE & SEEK
Improvement
Operations, Settings and the escape menu now scale with your resolution

These screens no longer render at a fixed size on 1440p, 4K and ultrawide displays.

Improvement
Updated icon font

A new glyph font adds the icons used by this update's new gamemode logos and mission categories.

Improvement
RTV: Rock The Vote rebuilt

The vote counter and status message in the menu now update live instead of freezing at whatever they were when you opened it, and the button correctly disables itself once you have voted.

Fixed
RTV needing more votes than there were players

On a server with one or two players, RTV required a number of votes that could never be reached. It now needs everyone present to agree.

Fixed
RTV cooldown never expiring

The cooldown was compared against the wrong value, so on some servers RTV could stay locked for the whole map.

Fixed
Challenge completion showing the wrong XP reward

The XP panel on the challenge complete popup displayed the money value instead of the XP earned. Long item names are also no longer cut off.

Fixed
Event XP progress bar filling incorrectly

The bar used the wrong calculation and could show a near empty bar after a large XP gain. Levelling up now fills the bar, and multi level jumps show the level you actually reached rather than the next one.

Removed
"semote" chat formatting option
New Feature
The interface now scales to your resolution

Menus, HUDs, popups and windows across the whole game were built for a 1080p screen and were previously drawn at that fixed size no matter what you played on. They now scale with your display, so text and panels are the right size on 1440p, 4K and ultrawide monitors instead of shrinking into a corner. This covers the store, inventory, trading, item inspection, the scoreboard, the pause menu, match end screens, map voting, the radio, admin tools, voice chat, notifications and the settings window.

Improvement
Correct scaling on 4:3 and 5:4 displays

On monitors narrower than 16:9 the interface now scales down as a whole instead of squashing wide elements against tall ones.

Fixed
Radar drawn as an oval on ultrawide displays

The corner radar scaled its width and height by different amounts, stretching the circle. It is now round at every aspect ratio.

Fixed
Daily challenge and operation HUDs overlapping other elements

The challenge trackers used fixed positions that no longer lined up above 1080p, and could sit on top of the time played box. Their anchor points now follow the rest of the HUD per gamemode.

Improvement
Store grids adapt to your resolution

The number of item cards per row is now worked out from the actual card size instead of a fixed number, so grids no longer leave a large empty gap on wide displays.

Timer Engine
New Feature
Redesigned Timer HUD The main timer panel has been rebuilt to match the look used across the rest of the network. It now shows the course and mode, your current style, the run timer, personal best, map rank, server record, speed and your stage all in one place, with a live speed graph and your skill group along the bottom.
New Feature
Redesigned GPS and key display The GPS panel now reads as a labelled list of your location, destination and distance, and respects your unit preference. The key display has been redrawn with a proper WASD cluster and separate jump and duck keys.
New Feature
Redesigned in world leaderboards The top 10 boards placed around maps have been redrawn with player avatars, gold, silver and bronze ranks, your own row highlighted, and a prompt on empty boards inviting you to claim the top spot.
New Feature
Redesigned notifications Run notifications now drop in from the top of the screen instead of overlapping the HUD at the bottom, wrap long text properly instead of running off the edge, and lay out their details as aligned rows rather than hand spaced text.
Improvement
Spectator list now sizes itself The panel showing who is spectating you grows and shrinks with the number of spectators and shows a "+N more" line rather than overflowing, while the header still shows the real total.
Improvement
Rebuilt SSJ panel Jump statistics are now laid out as a grid of labelled values instead of a plain list.
Improvement
Menus size themselves to their content The main menu and the replay browser were previously locked to a fixed window size regardless of what was in them.
Fixed
Times displayed incorrectly across the whole gamemode Times were formatted without padding, so a time of one minute, five seconds and three hundredths displayed as "1:5:3". Every time shown to players now uses a consistent MM:SS.CS format.
Fixed
Notifications not scaling with your resolution
Fixed
Several spelling mistakes in chat and notification messages
Removed
Old HUD and scoreboard panels The previous scoreboard, challenge HUD, timer HUD and surf line panels have been removed now that their replacements are in.
Improvement
Weapons rebuilt on a shared base Every weapon has been rebuilt on a common base and moved onto the Lambda weapon models, so weapon paints display consistently and weapons behave the same across the gamemode.
Improvement
Weapons are cosmetic by default Weapons are carried for their skins and cannot be fired. The USP-S and the Glock-18 remain shootable for maps that require you to shoot a button or a breakable to progress.
Fixed
Challenge bets not paying out The Lambda Coin side of a wager was never transferred between players when a challenge ended. Bets are now paid out to the winner, capped at what the loser can actually cover.
Fixed
XP going negative after a challenge Losing a bet you could no longer afford could push your XP below zero.
Fixed
Being able to challenge yourself
Fixed
Challenges accepting invalid styles and zero value bets Bets now require at least 1, and a challenge with an unrecognised style is rejected with a message instead of starting.
Fixed
The wrong player receiving the challenge complete event
Fixed
Bonus records showing the wrong bonus Personal bests and server records for bonuses were looked up without the bonus number, so every bonus on a map reported the same time.
Fixed
Zones not re triggering after you respawn inside them Dying and respawning in the same zone left your run state stuck until you left and re entered.
Fixed
The stage command with no stage number Typing the command without a number silently did nothing and now tells you what it expects.
Fixed
Spectate command checking the wrong player Spectating was blocked based on your own team rather than the team of the player you were trying to spectate.
Improvement
Replay requests are now rate limited Repeated replay requests are spaced out, and the requested profile is validated before it is looked up.
Improvement
Leaderboards are lighter on the network Leaderboard and map statistic updates are now compressed, and a burst of finishes close together sends one update rather than one per finish.
Improvement
Bonus and checkpoint leaderboards now load on demand These are fetched from the Timer API when you open them instead of being sent to every player on the server.
Improvement
Reduced work during movement Zone checks that ran for every player on every tick are now calculated once per tick and reused.
Fixed
Leaderboards being resent to everyone whenever a player joined
Improvement
The interface now scales to your resolution The Timer HUD, GPS, key display, notifications, scoreboard, main menu, replay browser, map voting, nomination, stage and bonus lists, spectator list, SSJ panel and the zone and leaderboard admin tools were all drawn at a fixed 1080p size. They now scale with your display, so nothing shrinks into a corner on 1440p, 4K or ultrawide monitors.
