The May 2026 Operation Event Horizon update adds achievements for Global Garry’s Mod, Timer Engine, Bunny Hop, and Surf, plus new web-based trade offers. It introduces Glitter Stickers, with creator documentation coming soon, and refreshes the roadmap with separate main and event views. New maps Cache and Zoo are now available across several modes. The update also adds 9 collectable backgrounds, the Cache Collection, Best of Counter-Strike Series #3 Glitter stickers, Half-Life: Alyx stickers, and NIGHT MODE II Music Kits. Overall, it’s a feature-heavy update focused on progression, trading, cosmetics, and map variety.

This update introduces some brand new features, economy items and maps.
This update introduces the Glitter style for Stickers. This style accurately reflects real-life glitter stickers.

We'll be providing Content Creation documentation for Glitter stickers within the next few days so that content creators can create their own!

Today's update introduces a feature we've been wanting to add for a while: Achievements.

We have selected a small set of gamemodes to start out with to gather feedback and help improve the system and in future updates we'll be adding support for more gamemodes.
This update introduces Web Trade Offers.

Go to any user profile and go to Actions and then "Send Trade Offer" or alternatively go to https://lambda.tf/trade-offers and click on "Send Trade Offer"
Trade offers work similar to STEAM.
You cannot send trade offers to users who have set their inventory to private or friends only (Unless you are friends with them)
Trade offers are automatically cancelled if either party cannot afford the money offers or the items offered have changed ownership or have been quick sold.

Launching alongside the return of Cache; The Cache Collection introduces 13 high quality weapon finishes themed around the map.

With the introduction of Glitter stickers in this update, we've also bought forward our plans for the next CS2 sticker capsule.
This update also brings in the Half-Life: Alyx Stickers.
These are now available to purchase in the in-game store.
Introduced in CS2 a few days ago, The NIGHT MODE II Music Kits are now available in the NIGHT MODE II Music Kit Box (Also available in StatTrak).
Both boxes are available to purchase on the in-game store.

With a new style (Glitter), the Best of Counter-Strike #3 capsule contains the very best of Counter-Strike including the very best glitter stickers.
The in-game chat system has been gone for a while now.
Introducing a Steam-like achievements system. The initial system covers global achievements (e.g any gamemode) and Timer Engine, Surf and Buny Hop with more gamemodes to follow.

This will initially be used for Content Creation competitions but we will expand this in the future. The new system allows users to sign up to competitions and link their workshop submissions directly against the competition, with a clear prize list.
