November 2026 Update is here! See what's new or Read the change logs
A lot of the core economy system has been refactored, bringing the code in-line with newer code. Some of this stuf dates back to Overwatch Gaming.
These were used on the very first case unboxing system, but as such are no longer required.
Prism is a module you install yourself. With it, most of Lambda's menus and HUD switch to a new design modelled on CS2. Without it, you keep the classic interface and nothing changes. It only runs on the 64-bit Windows version of Garry's Mod. Type !prism to download it.
Settings are now listed under Interface, HUD, Crosshair, Chat & Voice, Gameplay, Audio, Inventory & Trading, Privacy and Premium. The HUD options now read as what is shown (Time Played, Operation Mission, Daily Challenges) instead of "Hide...".
F3 now opens a rebuilt menu on the Inventory page. The main tabs are Inventory, Loadout, Shop, Trade Up and Trading, with Operation, Challenges, Achievements, Stats, Collections and Community Market as icons. Type lambda_legacy_inventory 1 in console to go back to the classic menu.
Search also matches name tags. Filter by rarity, collection, weapon, wear, StatTrak and name tag, and sort by newest, oldest, rarity, name or type. Ctrl+click selects several items to sell or move at once.
Character, weapons and extras all have slots, with an inline picker and a 3D preview.
Every possible result is listed with its chance and the float it would come out at. There are warnings when name tags, stickers, StatTrak kills or equipped skins would be lost.
The Shop gets search, filters and new sorts. Trading gets a searchable player list and gifting with a confirmation. The lottery gets Lucky Dip and a live countdown, Achievements get filters, Collections show how much of each you own, and Stats shows per-gamemode sections.
Exterior now includes the float, for example "Field-Tested (0.2345)".
The server now runs the whole trade. Offers show items as you would actually receive them, and the window warns that StatTrak counts go back to 0. If saving fails, money is returned and nothing moves. You can Back Out after clicking Make Trade, and an item changed on the website during a trade comes out of the offer.
Changing an offer un-readies both players, so nobody can swap something at the last second.
Items in an open trade cannot be sold, gifted, renamed, stickered, unsealed or otherwise changed.
The game now takes payment, adds the item, and only then removes the terminal. In-game money is refunded automatically if the item cannot be added, and a failed Lambda Wallet purchase gives you a reference to send to support. Double clicks can no longer charge or unseal twice.
Nine new animated backgrounds: Modern Warfare 2, Tetris, Autumn Leaves, Liquid Tunnel, Fireworks, Snowfall, Aurora, Rainbow Plasma and Neon Rings.
They were previously operation only.
Non-tradable items and unsealed graffiti are refused by the server, not only the gift window. The "trade locked" message now names the right person, and the recipient's lock is actually checked.
It now closes and reports how many items succeeded and failed.
16 new missions have been added to Event Horizon under a new "Bonfire Night (November 2026)" category, covering Casual, Skill Surf, Prop Hunt, Arms Race, Deathmatch, Training, // DR5VE & SEEK //, 1v1 Arena, Stronghold, Zombie Survival and Snowball Fight!.
Every LambdaNet gamemode with challenges now gets one global challenge a day, with no more doubling up on a single gamemode. This adds 87 new global challenges, including the gamemodes that had none.
New goals cover destroying fully built structures and spawn points, C4 kills and breaches, repairing structures, Field Tool beam kills, kills near your own structures, headshots, knife kills, kill streaks, finishing in the top 3 and winning a match. The 4 existing kill challenges have new targets.
Arms Race, Deathmatch, 1v1 Arena, Training, Zombie Survival, Snowball Fight! and Stronghold use it, the gamemode vote is now one of its stages, and Deathrun's extend option uses the shared extend vote.
The map vote tab used to say 40 seconds while the vote ran on its own clocks.
You could get an empty map vote page, miss votes already cast, or see the stage's full time instead of the time left. You now get the current stage, the time left and every vote so far.
The ballot could come up short of maps or oversized, recently played maps could fill it once a map was nominated, and if nobody voted the winner could be a map that was not on the ballot. Players who leave no longer stay on the vote count.
Everyone now sees the same options in the same order. If nobody votes the default option wins, ties are broken at random, and players who leave lose their vote.
It now says "No drops this match" when nobody got one, and two drops made in the same second no longer share the same case art.
Pressing 1, 2 or 3 while typing in chat, in the console or in a menu no longer counts.
Bots that hear an enemy shooting nearby glance toward the sound, and silenced weapons are heard from a much shorter distance.
Each bot now follows its own corridor to its objective, so a team spreads out instead of walking the same line.
Times now always show as minutes, seconds and hundredths, with hours added from one hour up.
Each map card shows its tier and whether you have completed the main course and the bonus.
With SSJ on, you now see the stats of the player you are spectating, with their name in the title. Replay bots show them too.
Prism UI brings modern, smooth interfaces to Garry's Mod. The new page at /prism has a screenshot carousel, install steps, download details and third-party notices.
Recorded shows are now saved automatically and can be replayed in the new episode player.
This will be used for Source Engine games (CS:S, L4D2 etc)
You can now suggest a full album or compilation as well as a single track. An album counts as one suggestion towards your pending limit.
A new home for building with Lambda. Create applications, manage API keys and OAuth2 redirects, work in teams with invites, view your usage and read the API guides and reference.
Adds Pro and TP records and run history.
The Leaderboards button on a daily mission now shows player rankings and progress for that mission.
While you are in a lobby, a floating card lets you get back to it from any page. It also tells you when the lobby is waiting for you or when a match is ready to join.
A bit late, I know.
New home page with a product spotlight and shelves for sales, featured items, new arrivals and best sellers. Categories, product pages, the basket and order receipts have also been redesigned.
Account now has an overview page and a sidebar listing all your account pages, and Settings, Privacy and Edit Profile have been restyled.
The menu has grouped links, profile shortcuts and counts for waiting friend requests and trade offers.
Subscribers now see Manage My Premium on the Premium page. Old links redirect automatically.
The overview now has a ticket card that changes with your situation, key details, a smaller map, and clear messages when tickets are not on sale, sold out or the meetup has ended.
The voting page now shows when voting closes, your current vote, the reward and ranked options. Guests can also view the vote, and the upcoming page features the next game night.
Adds an activity graph, monthly stats, commits grouped by day and project, and branch and search filters.
Your suggestions now have status filters, a pending limit meter, staff replies and an option to withdraw pending suggestions.
Lambda eSports Limited has been renamed Lambda Group Europe Ltd (Company Number: 17547480). Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
Members with double voting power only counted once in the vote totals. Totals now use each voter's full voting power.
The picker has more room as new modes are added, with search, player counts and map lists.
Play with eight survivors instead of four, adding Lt. Commander Ricksaw, Lieutenant Rex Krikey, Number K and Getaway Sally. Bots fill any empty slots. Each survivor beyond four adds 25% to a wave's horde, so a full squad faces twice as many zombies.
Delivery drones now route around blocked areas too.
Ported by Blazing
Bots used to buy a gun and nothing else. They now keep money back for armour, buy a helmet if they can afford one, and CT bots buy a defuse kit.
Once you are out of sight, bots go to where they last saw you and aim there, then get back to what they were doing if you are gone.
The carrier fights an enemy in view at the site before planting, and plants at a random spot rather than always the centre. The CT bot going to defuse shoots back on the way in, and bots running from the bomb keep shooting.
Health, armour, ammo and money along the bottom, the team bar and clock at the top, the kill feed, alerts, warmup panel, place name, use prompt, hostage icons, target ID and spectator card all have new versions. Money rolls to its new amount and shows each gain or loss.
You watch your own body during the deathcam, then the camera moves to the next player you can watch. After 1.8 seconds any key except the scoreboard key skips the deathcam.
Spectators can still watch anyone, and so can everyone once the match is over.
On by default and changed in the console with cl_obs_interp_enable.
Hits a gamemode blocks, such as team damage with friendly fire off, no longer flash your screen.
Spectating a planted bomb or a possessed prop now shows your own HUD.
On hostage maps, one living terrorist bot heads for the nearest hostage, fighting any enemy it has spotted first. A taken hostage loses the wave.
Passkeys are more secure than passwords and provide great multi-factor authentication. Head over to LambdaID to setup your passkey.
Press F1 with a skinned weapon out to add up to four stickers, one per slot on that weapon's model. You can replace or remove them and scrape each one. They show on your first-person weapon only.
