This documentation has been updated with the understanding that you are using the new Lambda Content Authoring Tools. The legacy LambdaSDK is no longer supported, as such we do not provide and help or support for users still using it.
In Content Authoring Tools, publishing your content is designed to be quick and straightforward.
Once your content has been imported into Citadel, either manually or through a tool such as Composer or Vandal, you will need to compile your project before it can be published.
To begin, open your Citadel project and click Compile & Publish, then select Compile.
Click Next to view the pre-compile checks.
Pre-compile checks make sure your project contains the required files before it is published to the Workshop. These checks help ensure that, if your submission is accepted, we have everything needed to use it correctly.
For most project types, this means checking that at least one required file is present. Some project types, such as Music Kits, have stricter checks, including requirements around audio length and file structure.
If all checks pass, click Compile to generate a build of your submission.
Once compiled, you can upload the generated file to the Workshop through your web browser.
Alternatively, you can publish directly from Citadel by clicking Compile & Publish, then selecting Publish to the Workshop.
Follow the steps in the publishing wizard. This process works in the same way as publishing through the website.
