Music Kits are economy items in-game that play music during certain events in-game.

Music kits allow the player to customise their experience rather than having to use standard music which cannot be changed.

As part of content creation in Lambda, we allow the community to create their own music kits and upload them to the workshop to be voted on by the community for inclusion as economy items in-game.

How do I create a music kit?

There's a lot that goes in to creating a music kit, you simply cannot bundle some music together and call it a day, you have to use different themes of music for different situations that relate to the in-game state, and this can take a lot of trial and error.

Generally, for music kits to be accepted as economy items, you will need to ensure that:

• The music fits the theme of the in-game event, e.g Lost Round should sound sad, as something bad has happened
• That music between states is consistent, such as transitioning from a Bomb Plant to a 10 second countdown of the bomb exploding.
• That your sound files are cut to the correct lenghts

What music can I use?

We prefer it if you create your own permission and grant Lambda the right to use your music indefinitely, however you may use music from other artists. We prefer if you can obtain permission from the artist in question, however this is not required.

Lambda Networks pays for a music licensing fee, and as such any signed music used is covered under this.

• A clear understanding of the Standard & Requirements
